Client Services Associate


Position Overview

We are looking for a Client Services team member who is excited at the prospect of contributing to the growth and success of our business. This position is responsible for serving high-net-worth clients through day-to-day administration of accounts and investment portfolios as well as business operations. The person needed for this position must be self-motivated to take ownership of individual responsibilities as well as team projects. We work in a team setting with a client focus, delivering high-quality, accurate and timely information.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Managing Principal and CIO to provide support as needed
  • Work closely with the firm’s Investment, Business Development, and Research team members to develop presentations
  • Manage all social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn as well as the company website
  • Perform data analyses to drive insights and inform recommendations
  • Handle requests from clients and answer client inquiries
  • Establish new custodial accounts for individuals, trusts, IRAs, LLCs, and other client entities
  • Utilize custodial platforms to perform routine duties such as cash movements, trading, document submission and other transactions.
  • Create and maintain client financial plans utilizing Money Guide Pro financial planning software.
  • Create and maintain client portfolios through a portfolio management system.
  • Schedule and participate in advisor-client meetings and assist with special events
  • Produce client reports – monthly, quarterly, and as requested.
  • Prepare all account paperwork and check pending account maintenance items
  • Help with compliance and regulatory reporting
  • Maintain current client information in all existing databases (CRM)
  • Assist the portfolio management team or advisors as needed
  • Organize, scan, and maintain all paper/electronic client files
  • Writing and editing a monthly investment newsletter and blogs
  • Continue to develop technical knowledge and expertise
  • Continually evaluate day to day activities for process improvement opportunities
  • Develop key objectives and manage all assigned projects/tasks to achieve key objectives in a timely manner

Key Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Communications, Marketing or a related field
  • Desire to obtain Series 65 license
  • Outstanding work ethic, initiative, and motivation.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Public speaking skills
