Marketing & Communications Specialist



  • Develop/maintain/implement marketing strategies
  • Conduct market research and analyze current trends
  • Manage and support an effective, robust public relations strategy
  • Develop and maintain client-centric marketing communications including client-facing materials in print and digital
  • Develop creative social media and online marketing campaigns and posts to help bring in more clients (such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Google)
  • Manage all social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Create rich content for blogs, newsletters, and digital ads
  • Create and implement effective email marketing strategy and campaigns to promote all company products and services
  • Coordinate digital marketing and SEO efforts
  • Plan and prepare all client gifts and cards
  • Craft all client announcements, letters, and holiday/birthday communications
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure a client-centric focus, compelling approach, factual and grammatical accuracy, and brand compliance
  • Manage marketing projects including presentations, brand updates, company web efforts andprocess improvements
  • Track and report company website traffic on Google Analytics and get analytical insights
  • Support day-to-day operations of Marketing and Communications to meet ongoing needs
  • Collaborate with Director of Client Services on marketing initiatives and tasks
  • Support Managing Principal, CIO withany task assigned
  • Support company’s lead-generation process and business development efforts

  • Obtained or pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or other related field with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience marketing and/or communications
  • Determined and motivated; ability to go above and beyond
  • Excellent interpersonal/verbal, written, and customer service skills; being courteous, professional, and helpful are critical for this position
  • High-level grammatical and editing skills
  • Ability to relay information accurately to others
  • Professional and articulate with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential problems
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, positive professional attitude, and demeanor
  • Ability to work efficiently, effectively, and independently to see projects through to the conclusion
