Oguz founded Passage Global Capital Management in 2007 and is responsible for developing investment opportunities and managing portfolios and risk. He is an investment industry veteran seasoned in global equity, fixed income, foreign exchange, and derivatives. He also possesses years of experience in the disciplines of trading and risk management. He started his professional career working in the banking industry, including a Chicago-based investment bank, where he gained experience in financial analysis and equity options. Oguz has worked with several multinational and Fortune 500 companies, managing multi-million-dollar global investment portfolios. He has also been responsible for managing various financial market risks involving equity, foreign exchange, fixed income, and commodities.
Throughout his career he has designed and developed a variety of quantitative-based financial and investment models, as well as portfolio and risk management strategies. Oguz has a B.S. in Economics with Econometrics. He received an MBA degree in finance with an MIS from Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University in Chicago. Oguz has also completed the Investment Decisions and Behavioral Finance program at Harvard University, as well as an advanced online statistical learning course from Stanford University. Oguz is a Chartered Financial Analyst®.
Kristel works with the clients of Passage Global Capital Management to build positive and long-lasting relationships that are centered on the ultimate goals of our clients. Kristel’s main role is to ensure all clients are receiving the most comprehensive service and communications possible. As a co-owner of Passage Global Capital Management, Kristel is also responsible for the marketing and general business strategy of the firm.
She received a B.A. degree from DePaul University in Chicago and has an MBA in Business and Marketing.
Hongfei conducts research projects at Passage Global Capital Management using advanced statistical methods and computer science tools. She has rich experience in data mining, machine learning, and cloud computing and has published a peer-reviewed research paper on applications of deep learning models in engineering field.
Hongfei has a Bachelor of Economics in Finance. She received a M.S. in Statistics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is currently enrolled in their Master of Computer Science program.
Christopher performs research and aids in client advisory functions as a registered Investment Advisor Representative. Christopher has been with Passage Global Capital Management since he began as an intern in the summer of 2016. Christopher is deeply involved throughout the investment process from strategy development to client portfolio construction to monitoring risk.
Christopher has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Iowa. He is also currently a CFA Level II candidate.
Evin assists with equity research and collaborates with the research team in the creation of new investment strategies.
Evin is currently attending the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and is studying toward a dual concentration in entrepreneurship and finance.
